Simple Thank You

The other day, a friend asked me if I had any thank you cards available to purchase, and while I had a few, I was itching to make something new. She needed 2 female and 1 male card. Mission set!

I found this card on Pinterest and knew I had to CASE it!

I love this layout so much, I need to make MORE! What a great way to showcase the DSP packs, right? The polka dot and the green stripes are opposite each other! I paired them with a coordinating cardstock base, cut the center out using a circle framelet and then stamped the center. For the female cards, I embellished using the Petite Petals stamp and coordinating punch with candy dots. The leaves from the bird builder punch add the perfect amount of green pop!

I don't think I spent more than 30 minutes on the lot of them. They just fell together so nicely that I sat in awe of them!

I'll be joining the Watercooler Wednesday Anything Goes challenge with these!

Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you have a fantastic day!!

Determined!

Hey there!

The other day I was determined to make a list of my for-sale stamps and get them posted somewhere. I was on a pretty good roll until I had one setback, which is good, because I usually start second-guessing myself every other set. But! I stayed the course.

The only set that I couldn't part with was called Office Ephemera from 2004. I bought it and never used it! (used, but still!) It was still taped from the thrift store that I purchased it from. It works perfectly for the Retro Rubber anything goes challenge!!

Today, it was set free! I used my most (favorite-est, yes a word today) technique and went to work!

The Triple Layer Technique!!

This is my go-to technique when, well..... I just love it! It works especially well with pieces that can be collaged together. I paired it with the retiring in-colors (which I better get stocking up on) because they are SO pretty! I kick myself for not using it earlier. I typically like the new trendy stuff a year too late. I layered the stamped layers onto Lost Lagoon, sponged the layers with Early Espresso and paired with some retired ribbons.

One day I'll have a card with all current products. One day....

Until then, have a stamptastic day!!

Birthday Goodness for WWC60!

Good morning!

In our house, it seems like all the holidays happen for months in a row. Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, then it's my birthday in January, my son's in Feb (Valentines, actually), and then my daughter and husband within days of each other in March. Then Easter.

Then nothing.

Pfew.

It's like a constant celebration over here, that I have a terrible time keeping up with. I mean, just the other day I found a birthday present for my daughter! (It was hidden in a package to save for her birthday, that I forgot about. errr...

Once Easter is past, we are free and clear! Don't get me wrong, I love celebrations, but it seems like we spend 6 months preparing for the next event and never get a head or they become the next gift opportunity. Which means I need to get Easter stuff....

So, in my late-as-usual style, I made this for my daughter's birthday, showed her, and she went on her way (She just turned 4 and while she clearly loves my cards, she was too busy this particular day apparently) And it's perfect for the current Watercooler Wednesday challenge

I don't know why it takes 6 months (give or take....)  for new products to appeal to me, but now I am obsessed with all things birthday balloons! And birthday! I think I just purchased all the birthday stuff in the catalog because my other birthday offerings were just sentiments or really old.

And not balloons. :)

Thanks for stopping by! Have a stamptastic day!!

Spring is in the air..

...just don't look at the ground. Haha! It's melllltttiiiinnnngggg!

It is steadily warming here in the Interior and I just LOVE all the drips and puddles that are forming with the snow melting! While we'll still have the snow until early May, I'll take the warmer weather and the slow melt.

In the spirit of Spring, my cards have been a floral frenzy as of late. I just can't get enough of my English Garden DSP pack!

A while ago, I had a small SU party and had cut these bases and layers based on the catalog photos. We made a few, and the rest that we didn't sat on the bag on my paper shelf. Knowing I had it, I dug it out and was determined to get it used. I just love DSP packs because no matter how you arrange the different papers, they look amazing together!

Here's another one made with the same paper pack. I thought I'd hand write the "HapBee Birthday" sentiment. It's cute, but would've preferred a stamp. The receiver will still enjoy it!

I added the new silver metallic glitter tape from the Sale-a-bration catalog and I just LOVE it! It looks so good on everything! It's just enough bling to add to projects!

What would you add to the Bee card? I'm not sure if I'm finished with it quite yet. It might sit on my desk while I think of something.

Thanks for stopping in today! I hope you have a stamptastic day!!
