Hi All!
This was supposed to be a FM entry, but I missed the linky deadline. :( Oh well, doesn't mean I can't show it off anyway!
Here's what I came up with.
I was feeling a bit retro today if you can't tell. I just got the birthday paper pack recently, so I cracked it open and saw this awesome ombre DSP in Summer Starfruit. I was instantly in love and this bike from Pedaling Past came to mind. I stamped the bike in Elegant Eggplant and colored it in with some Baja Breeze and the Summer Starfruit (even after saying 'don't do it' to myself over and over) but it came out wonderfully. I also stamped the sentiment in Elegant Eggplant and nipped the edges with a square punch for the banner effect. Clean and simple and hardly took any time at all.
Now just to find a lucky recipient.
Have a stamp-tastic day!

Fall and Friday Mashup!
Good morning! It's the first day back to school here in the Fairbanks area! We were able to wrap up our summer with an RV camping trip with my in-laws. The only problem is that there are no RV rentals in Fairbanks, so we packed the truck to the gills and headed south to Anchorage! We then spent the week on the Kenai Peninsula visiting Seward, Soldotna, Whittier, and Homer with a few stops along the way!
There are also cards in this post! (Just keep scrolling....lol) I designed a wedding card based on my card crush Mary Fish. She just has the best designs and they are so simply pieced together. It's bliss really! Here is the link to her card from many moons ago.
I used the curly label punch with lucky limeade and black to create the image, which matches the couple's invitation perfectly. A simple black satin ribbon tied this together beautifully on Very Vanilla cardstock. The stamp set is then embossed in black and teeny pearls are added to the periods on the abbreviations. The picture does it no justice.
Then I was asked to make a going away card for one of our derby refs so that we can all sign it for him...so I thought a suitcase was in order! I found it on pinterest and cased it here.
Well, that's all for now!
Have a cozy, fall-like stamptastic day!!

Here's your Mashup Challenge:
- Create a project using "Clear Block Stamping (use your clear block as a stamp)."
- Create a project using "Color-blocking."
- Or Mash it Up and create a project using "Clear Block Stamping & Color-blocking."
Wedding card...does this count as color blocking? haha |
